Art Exhibit at the Highland Station House - 205 W. Livingston Rd. View interesting equine-themed art and watch a blacksmith demonstrate his craft. The Art Gallery Shop will also be open. An Art and Hometown Goods Show will be held across the street in Veteran's Park featuring locally-made or grown items.

September 29 - 10 a.m. to 2 pm.
The Huron Valley Optimists invite kids out to the Highland Station House - 205 W. Livingston Rd. to pick out a pumpkin and get creative! Free.
The Highland Township Fire Department Station No. 1 welcomes kids to come learn how to be safe at home. The Smoke House is a great opportunity to practice what they have learned at school. Free.
Pony rides will take place at the southwest corner of Milford and Livingston Rds. $4.
Photo opportunities with horses abound--Equine Star will be at the Highland Station House and two horses (with their officers) will be at the Oakland County Sheriff's Mounted Division will be in front of Highland Feed on E. Livingston. Free.

September 29 - 5 to 10 p.m.
Come dance the night away in downtown Highland Station! The night begins at 5 p.m. with Highland Idol--a singing contest. We're looking for local talent! If you're interested, please call the Highland DDA office at 248.887.7200 to register. The grand prize is a free karaoke machine rental (great for your next party!) and an opportunity to sing at the Highland Tree Lighting in December!
Country band Cat & the Fiddlers will play from 6 - 7 pm. followed by the professional square dance caller Glen Morningstar, Jr. (you might have seen him at Greenfield Village) until 10 p.m. Free event.
Food will be available for a charge from 5 - 10 p.m. from Hotel Hickman--an old time chuck wagon--and Duke's of Highland. Sponsored by the Highland Downtown Development Authority
A Beer Tent will also be up and running from 5 - 10 p.m. and is sponsored by the Highland Business Association.

Cruise around Highland Station in style with the Highland Business Association in horse-drawn wagonettes.
